Well its so obvious that you have surely visited Shimla, Mussoorie aka the Queen of hills, Manali and what not but I am pretty sure that you guys haven't experienced the beauty, quietness and the serenity of a small hill town of Uttarakhand, Lansdowne. The most naturally gifted place of this country. If you are one of those who loves being around the mountains but with less of commercialism you gotta visit this beautiful hill station. You should not even think of reading this twice and go grab that chance of packing your bags and shooting straight towards heaven!

Don't even have any doubts let me tell you clearly because when you reach Valley of Flowers you gonna pick that call and thank me for suggesting this basket of heaven full of flowers surrounded by lush green mountains with clouds passing over them constantly. This my friends is the ultimate place to witness in your lifetime. God does not give you beauty and satisfaction without any hard-work which in this sense relates to the trek which needs to be done for this spellbound place. A lot of nature lovers trek to reach the destination for experiencing the legendary trail that the world wants to trek in!

Mind it, its a moderate level trek so be extra prepared for the steep ascent which will surely challenge your patience and endurance but all that will make you feel contended when you reach there 😍

4. Tosh Village

Tosh Village | #4 of #7 Best Offbeat places you gotta visit soon!

God gave me this golden opportunity to spend a night in this extremely beautiful village situated in the infamous Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh. The surreal and alluring landscape of the village makes you go crazy because this isn't something one experiences in their lifetime. The humbleness and the hospitality of the native people will leave you astonished and you will feel to never ever leave this place at all. It should be regarded as the world's best therapy destinations for individuals who are all battling with their fast paced lives.

The roads to Tosh are not easy for you to drive which automatically means you gotta hire a native driver who knows how to drive in that terrain and finally trek through the narrow lanes of the village to whichever stay you choose! 🌈

Best time to visit: April-October & November-February when whole village is covered by snow.

5. Zanskar Valley

Zanskar Valley | #5 of #7 Best Offbeat places you gotta visit soon!

My most regretful & missed out opportunity has been one of the most remotest yet beautiful places on this Earth, the Zanskar Valley. It is not at all like a random hilly destination, I would quote it as a legendary place only for people who are adventurous, who have high adrenaline in them because the landscape demands you to be a thrill loving person. You can trek, you can raft, you can visit numerous monasteries & witness the confluence of river Indus & Zanskar also known as the Sangam Point where the bright clue colour of Indus and green colour Zanskar merges and said to change colours in different seasons. Just next level!

If you are planning a trip and not counting Zanskar in, brother you are missing the thrill zone of your life. So go have a good meet with your adventurous side! 💪

Best time to visit: Mid June-September to enjoy the pleasant weather

6. Kheerganga

Zanskar Valley | #6 of #7 Best Offbeat places you gotta visit soon!

Been there! Stayed a night and felt the most happening night of my life. Kheerganga is one such legendary places that you gotta visit soon. Its not just a casual trekking experience, mind it its a 13km trek which consumes all your endurance and patience & then gifts you the most amazing moments of your life as soon as you set your foot there. Its also considered a holy place where Lord Shiva's younger son Lord Kartikeya did meditation in the caves for years & Goddess Parvati came to take back her son and in her happy mood she flowed a river of Kheer (an Indian dessert make of rice & milk). The most astonishing thing of this place is the natural hot water spring, even when fully snow covered the water remains hot, it is believed one dip in that water takes away all your ailments.

Just wow place to visit and experience, but but be prepared for heavy duty 13 km trek with a steep ascent at some points and experience the Nakhtan Village in between the trail.⛰

Best time to visit: March-June is considered as the favourable months for the trek

7. Parashar Lake

Parashar Lake | #7 of #7 Best Offbeat places you gotta visit soon!

One of the my wishes to be in this heavenly place situated in holy state of Himachal Pradesh. Parashar Lake is situated at an altitude of 2730 metres with a paranoiac view of the snow clad Dhauladhar mountainous range with dense forests all around showcasing its lush green beautiful landscape. It has a holy connection attached to it where in it is considered that Sage Parashar himself stroke a rod (also referred to as Gurj) on the ground which led to water flow out and took the shape of a lake. It is believed he meditated here for years and finally a temple was built by King Ban Sen in 13th century honouring the Sage.

You journey to Lake Parashar will be a fruitful, full of calmness and spiritual one, so don't miss out on this opportunity! 💫

Best time to visit: Summer months, September-early December after that it is covered under snow
